1. Overview & Commitment

Welcome to Voice2AI (developed by Sandeep Tech). Your privacy is our top priority. Voice2AI is designed as an on-device floating voice dictation assistant that allows you to speak and automatically insert translated text into apps like WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram, Slack, and Gmail.

🔒 Zero Audio Logging Guarantee: We do NOT record, store, collect, or transmit your voice or microphone audio to any external server. All audio is processed locally on your device in real-time.

2. Android System Permissions & Usage

To provide floating voice dictation features across Android apps, Voice2AI requests the following permissions:

Microphone Permission (RECORD_AUDIO): Used strictly when you tap the floating microphone button to transcribe your speech into text in real-time. Microphone access turns off immediately when dictation stops.
Accessibility Service (BIND_ACCESSIBILITY_SERVICE): Required solely to detect when a text input field is active inside target messaging apps (e.g. WhatsApp, Instagram) and auto-insert your voice-dictated text at your cursor position. Voice2AI does NOT read, collect, or monitor your personal chat messages.
Display Over Other Apps (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW): Used exclusively to render the floating microphone bubble on top of other active applications.
Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Displays a persistent background service notification while the floating assistant is active so you can easily turn off the service at any time.

3. Local Storage & Security

Voice2AI stores all user preferences locally on your device using encrypted Jetpack Preferences DataStore and local SQLite database:

Transcription History: Saved locally on your device only. You can delete history anytime.
Custom Vocabulary: Your custom slang and dictionary terms remain on your local storage.
Biometric Security: If enabled, history and settings access are secured by Android's native Fingerprint & Face Unlock hardware.

4. Advertising & Subscriptions

Voice2AI offers free access supported by non-intrusive advertisements as well as an optional premium subscription:

Google AdMob Ads: Free users may see banner ads powered by Google AdMob. AdMob uses anonymous advertising IDs provided by Android to serve relevant ads. No personal voice or text data is shared with advertisers.
Voice2AI PRO Subscription (₹49/Month): Subscribing to PRO instantly removes 100% of ads. Subscriptions are processed securely through official Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store credit card, UPI, or financial details.
Single Device Hardware Lock: Subscriptions are bound to your hardware device ID (ANDROID_ID) to enforce 1 active device per subscription.
